MORE THAN PASTING LYRICS INTO A GENERATOR

Keep the music connected to the writing.

SongIntent carries forward your approved lyric version, genre, BPM, vocal, energy, mood and production notes. Longer lyrics get an explicit fit or two-part continuation review—nothing unique is silently removed.

FROM YOUR WORDS TO A LISTENING TEST

How to turn your lyrics into a song

  1. Prepare the lyricWrite or edit your verses and hook in Studio. Keep the details that matter, read the words aloud and approve the version you want to hear.
  2. Choose the musical directionReview genre, BPM, vocal, energy, mood and production notes. Check the displayed render allowance and any long-song review before generation.
  3. Listen, diagnose and reviseOpen the saved result in My Songs. Listen for crowded phrases, a flat hook or an awkward rhyme, then open the matching repair tool. Approve the revision before another render.

ORIGINAL EDITORIAL EXAMPLE · TEXT ONLY

Give the important phrase room to land

Imagine a narrator who keeps driving past the street where someone used to live. The writing decision is to leave space after the admission.

First draft

I tell myself I never think about the place you used to stay
But every time I drive back home I take the longer way

Try the first line over your own beat. Mark any point where you rush or lose the natural emphasis; the text alone cannot tell us how your performance will feel.

One possible revision

I say your street means nothing now
Still take the longer way

The shorter version keeps the contradiction and removes some explanation. It also drops the first draft’s end-rhyme pair. Keep it only if that tradeoff serves your song.

What to listen for next

Read both versions at the same tempo. Does “longer way” get the emphasis you want? Can you leave a pause without losing the meaning? In SongIntent, revise that passage, approve the lyric and production choices, then compare the saved song versions.

This is an authored teaching example, not a customer result, captured AI output or audio demonstration. A generated performance can vary between renders; a second version is not a controlled test of the lyric alone.

POST-RENDER REPAIR

Fix the Failure—not the Whole Song.

Tell SongIntent whether the words rushed, hook stayed flat, rhyme felt forced, emotion disappeared, sections blended together or performance changed the phrasing. It opens the matching repair tool while preserving the source render and lyric snapshot.

BEFORE YOU GENERATE

Questions about turning lyrics into music

Can I use lyrics I wrote myself?

Yes. Start with your own words in Studio, edit them and approve the lyric version before using Hear Your Song. You can also use the AI songwriting assistant for focused lyric, rhyme and cadence help while you finish the draft.

What if the audio does not sound how I imagined?

Keep the saved version and identify the specific issue. Post-render repair can route a crowded phrase, flat hook, forced rhyme or other supported problem to the relevant writing tool. Listen and make the final judgment yourself; generation does not guarantee the phrasing or result you pictured.

Can I try Hear Your Song for free?

The Free plan includes 1 Song Render each month. Your available allowance is shown before generation. See the current plans and included allowances before choosing a paid plan.
